The Future Works, designed by Sheppard Robson is a key part of the wider £3.5 billion Heart of Slough regeneration project. Supporting the vision to provide a selection of spaces, The Future Works building consists of a fully furnished 7,000 sq ft plug and play space with meeting rooms and breakout spaces. The floor is integrated into the wider workplace management system for automated management of installed services, data insights to track space usage, energy consumption with real time analytics, and reporting. We then worked on a concept design to create a café offering within the same building, and integrate the spatial design across to the reception as part of the wider rebrand of the building to align with the client’s marketing aspirations. Working with a catering partner and kitchen designer we established the catering offering and designed the space accordingly. The interior design has been developed by Morey Smith, HUSH supported with the engagement of consultants and contractor for the delivery of the construction works. The furniture and kitchen installation were procured separately by the client but HUSH managed its integration into the scheme. |
