Thanks to our involvement in The Hickman base build works, HUSH were able to effortlessly grasp the existing design and facilities within the building and seamlessly move into fit-out phase delivering GPE’s co-working and flexible office workspace. HUSH assisted with the delivery of fast-tracked Cat B fit-outs across three floors in just twelve weeks. The fit-out provided a combination of member collaboration spaces, break-out spaces as well as dedicated offices and meeting rooms to support the Runway East’ membership offering. The interior design complemented and reflected the basebuild aesthetic utilising exposed concrete soffits and exposed surfaces, successfully combining old with modern and vibrant interiors to reflect Runway East’s brand identity. An innovative design allowed for a dedicated contained office space to be created in the basement whilst retaining natural light, making the space more attractive. The design ethos was to retain as much of the existing basebuild as possible therefore it was imperative the design adopted the base build codes to create a complimentary space. The project minimised strip out and the removal of lighting and FCUs. The Hickman achieved a SKA silver rating, received the world’s first SmartScore ‘Platinum’ rating and was the winner of “The Best New Place to Work” at the BusinessLDN awards. |
