HUSH managed the relocation into new premises following expansion and the acquisition of a new investment bank. The project involved the Cat B fit-out of approximately 48,000 sq-ft of office accommodation comprising all of the 3rd floor and part 4th of the London Stock Exchange building in Paternoster Square, London. The interior design reflected the four different entities of the bank which mixed modern and traditional values. A centralised reception and meeting room facility was created for use by all of the bank entities to encourage staff collaboration and to avoid duplication of facilities. The Cat B Fit-out included the creation of a 200 plus trader floor which involved the installation of new resilience infrastructure and the negotiation of wayleaves to support the dealing operations. The project was delivered in 20 weeks which included a number of sectional completion dates needed due to lease expiry dates and adequate commissioning periods needed support the dual running of facilities before the existing premises were decommissioned. |
